A shopkeeper falls to the floor after being struck with an ax. He quickly stands up, but looks down to see his body still on the floor. Ghosts of Confederate soldiers run with their rifles, stopping occasionally to take aim and fire at phantom Union soldiers. The residue from yet a different era reveals the arrival of a special guest at the railroad station. Hear these stories, and many more, at the Madison Ghost Walk! Tours begin promptly at 6 p.m. every Friday in October at Bandito Burrito. The ghosts from Madison’s past want their stories told! Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for kids 12 and under. Bring your dog on a leash and buy your tickets 30 minutes before tour time.
